Saturday, 14th July ANSTY III v FOREST ROW II Stoner Mid-Sussex League Division Three (at Whitemans Green) Toss: Won by Forest Row II Forest Row II defeated Ansty III by 61 runs at Whitemans Green having scored 175 for 8 off 44.3 overs. Matt Wells led the way with 52, with support from Mick Humphrey (25), but Ansty’s young side conceded 32 " extras" . Ben Reeve bowled well, taking personal best figures of 4 for 35 off 8.5 overs. In reply, Mike Roberts (3 for 28) and Matt Woodward (3 for 15) ensured Ansty never had a chance of victory as they were dismissed for 114 with young Tommy Handley top scoring at number nine with 29no. He helped put on 44 for the final wicket with his skipper Peter Fowles (16). Michael Lawrey (17) and Rory Dormer (15) were the only other Ansty batsmen to reach double figures.
