Saturday, 11th August BURGESS HILL III v ANSTY III Stoner Mid-Sussex League Division Three (at Belmont Close, Hassocks) Toss: Ansty III Ansty colts Ali Chisholm and Paul Mountain scored their maiden senior half-century in their League match at Hassocks with Burgess Hill III, but Ansty III were frustrated at the end as the home side ground out a draw with two wickets left standing. Chisholm hit 11 fours and a six in his 67 and Mountain struck 8 fours and a six in his unbeaten 50 as Ansty declared on 213 for 5. In reply, Chisholm then took 3 for 41 and Rory Dormer claimed 2 for 22, but Hill hung on for the draw at 134 for 8. Geof Brailey (35no) and James Vick (32) top scored for the home team.
