Ansty’s young second team dismissed Ram II for 143 with colt Jethro Menzies taking 4 for 20 assisted by two other colts, Callum Brown and Chris Barnes, who both took two wickets apiece. Amandip top scored for Ram with 45. In reply, Barnes (30) and Joe Hallam (20) put on 40 for the opening wicket, but Mitesh took 4 for 40 to leave Ansty struggling. David Hawke offered hope with 36, but with time running out, Ansty finished 12 short of victory in their first draw of the season.
