Toss: Won by Ifield
Ansty were put in on a damp spongy wicket and were dismissed for a paltry 114. Only Simon Parsons came to terms with the wicket, hitting an unbeaten 45. The Ansty batting looked rusty, having not played for three weeks, and Ifield’s Jaffa (4 for 30) and Nuan Fernando (5 for 25) did the damage with the ball. In the reply, Fernando struck an unbeaten 35, whilst solid scores from Greg Barton (34) and Parvaz Akhtar (33) clinched a seven-wicket victory.
