On Sunday, Ansty were defeated by 5 wickets at Rottingdean in a 40-over clash. Darren Senadhira hit 27 to help Ansty recover from 4 for 2 and debutant Pridish Patel scored 37 to top score. A late flurry by Henry Fowler (30) and skipper Neil Machin (22no) resulted in Ansty posting a total of 184 for 9. Hall, Harper and Ledden took two wickets apiece for the home side. In reply, Ledden struck 80 to lead Rottingdean to victory despite two wickets from Michael Lawrey.
