In reply the Ansty openers Crickmore (19no) and James Dowell (15no) knocked the runs off within five overs to give them a comprehensive ten wicket win. With the match over in just over an hour the two teams participated in a 10 over a side match which Ansty won by 28 runs with Jonny Lea (16 retired) top scoring with support from Sophie Cawley (10 no) and Coombs (10).
