Toss won by Billingshurst
Billingshurst won the toss and put Ansty into bat. Alex Borley top scored with (27 not out) with support from Will Bennett (16) Mike Burke (14) and Johnny Lea (12), who were the other main scorers. M Brown (2-8) and O Martin (2-8) were the most successful bowlers for Billingshurst. When Billingshurst went into bat they scored runs slowly losing both openers when the score was on14. A stand of 45 for the fourth wicket was their only real success and they ended on 91for 6. Johnny Lea (3-6) and Will Sayer (1-1), were Ansty’s most successful wicket takers.
