Sunday 29th April 2007 Ansty U12 v Three Bridges U12 U12 Identilam League (At The Poplars)  On Sun 29th April Ansty Under 12s opened their league campaign with a disappointing defeat to a strong Three Bridges side.  Although with many key players missing Ansty put up a brave fight.  Three Bridges were put into bat and got off to a flying start reaching 95 before losing their first wicket.  However a great spell of bowling by Tom Hadfield 4 for 11 ably supported by James Wybrow 2 for 26 managed to peg them back to 126 for 8 after 20 overs. In reply Ansty got of to a disastrous start collapsing to 12 for 6 under some good bowling. Ansty did dig in and brave batting from Matt Davey 34 and Sam Minall 12 at least made the score a respectable 72 all out but sadly a 54 run defeat.
