NMS League Lindfield U11 v Ansty U11 16 July  2007 Ansty narrowly won their local derby with Lindfield in a high-scoring match at Lindfield Common. Ansty batted first in this hard-fought fixture and got off to a flying start with Jake Feltham scoring 20 not out at the top of the order. However, Ansty were soon becalmed until a quickfire 30 from Ben Hewitt at the death. There was a wicket each for Xavier Nichols, Russell Hammond and Jack Searle, but Ansty's total of 285 looked good enough. In reply, Lindfield made steady progress throughout their innings against some steady bowling. Tim Riley bowled a wicket maiden and Jake Feltham picked up a wicket, leaving the last pair to make 33 off the last four overs to win. Despite lusty hitting by Max Collins (22), a wicket in the penultimate over by Joseph East put this just beyond reach and Lindfield ended on 279, just 7 short of victory. Ansty won by 7 runs
