Ansty Under-11 made it four wins out of four as they maintained their leadership of the SAYL League with a comfortable victory over Keymer & Hassocks at sunny Adastra Park. Winning the toss, Ansty captain Edward Coombs had no hesitation in batting, and the away side made good progress despite a quick flurry of wickets in the middle of the innings. Sam Palser led the way with a well-struck 25 not out, with Angus Harrison playing well for 13 not out, Bill Barker making 13, Todd Haufek 11 not out and Coombs himself 10 in a total of 332-6. Ansty soon had the home side in trouble, with Barker, Haufek, Palser, Harrison Jake Feltham, Joseph East and Stephen Craddock picking up a wicket each. Haufek, Coombs and Ben Hewitt all took catches, and Barker and Coombs got run-outs. With Keymer & Hassocks ending up on 206-9, the result was a 126-run win for Ansty.
