Saturday, 24th June ANSTY IV v LINGFIELD III Stoner Conference (at Warden Park School, Cuckfield) Ansty IV recorded a very satisfying six-wicket victory at home to Lingfield III in the Stoner Conference. Lingfield had made 185 for 7 off their allotted 40 overs with M Hunt hitting 55, C Forbes making an unbeaten 50 and Alan Evans scoring 34. For Ansty, fourteen-year-old Rory Dormer took 3 for 22 and Jimmy DiBella claimed two wickets. In reply, the home side started briskly with Paul Mountain hitting a swift 21. Fourteen-year-old James Wright joined opener Llewelyn Boshoff and the pair put on a superb 91 for the second wicket with before Wright was dismissed just one short of a first senior half-century.
