Tom King hit an unbeaten 105 for Lindfield Swans against Ansty III as they piled up 200 for 4 declared. Tom Jeeves offered support with 27, whilst Callum Brown was Ansty’s most successful bowler with 2 for 36. In reply, the Ansty youngsters slumped to 74 for 7 despite Llewelyn Boshoff’s 21, but an eigth wicket stand of 34 by skipper Simon Finch (41no) and Sam Simon (24) and an unbeaten partnership of 34 between Finch and Brown (8no) rescued the team and Ansty finished on 142 for 8, holding on for a draw.
