Toss: Won by Roffey IV
Ansty 3rd XI match with Roffey IV was abandoned with Ansty on 27 for 1 (Mark Dale 13no) when the Warden Park strip became dangerous. Instead the teams played a friendly on the artificial strip in which Roffey IV won by 9 wickets. Ansty were dismissed for just 56 with skipper Simon Finch top scoring with 16. Binu took 4 for 3 for Roffey then Simon Naik (24) and Matt Bidlake (20no) steered the visitors home. A stunning catch by Llew Boshoff off Jonathan Young was Ansty’s best memory of the game.
