Saturday, 3rd June HENFIELD II v ANSTY II Sussex Invitation 2nd XI League Division 1 (at Henfield Common) Toss: Ansty II Ansty 2nd XI fared no better than their 1st XI at Henfield as the home side scored 200 for 7 off 49 overs with Tim Normington carrying his bat for an unbeaten 73 in 3 hours. Durrant offered support with 43, whilst newly-wed Barry Crouch took 4 for 26 for Ansty. In reply, the visitors slumped as McLeod took three early wickets, but despite young Jamie Newsome’s 21, Crouch’s 17 and Andy Mowforth’s 15, Ansty fell to 91 all out as Mark Hopgood ripped through the lower order to finish with 5 for 37.
