(at Middleton Manor)
Ansty started the new season with a 25-run victory at Streat & Westmeston. Darren Senadhira hit form early in the season with an 87-minute ton off just 84 balls. He was retired on 103 having hit 3 sixes and 14 fours. Senadhira had support from Tom Benham (45), Simon Parsons (21) and Colt Leo Anderson (20no) as Ansty declared on 217 for 3. In reply, Bell (51) and Stael (37) put on 87 for an opening stand before Shaun Janman took two wickets in three balls. Although Streat’s Ravi Kunar (31) and Salian (26) offered the home side hope, wickets fell at regular intervals and they finished all out on 192. Janman finished with 5 for 67, whilst Parsons took 3 for 16 and Rob Littlejohns helped himself to 2 for 38.
