ANSTY II v EDWARDS SPORTS

James Abbott returned Ansty personal best figures of 4 for 27 at home to Edwards Sports who were dismissed for 159. Sanjay top scored with a spirited 35 at the end.
In reply, Ansty II laboured throughout their innings and finished just eight short of victory at stumps to claim a draw. Reg took 5 for 25 and Dilip had 3 for 57 as Ansty closd on 152-9. Jack Anderson top scored with 38 and received support from his skipper Myles Machin (26), Ben Langridge (25) and brother Leo Anderson (22).
