EASTBOURNE v ANSTY
Friendly
Tom Benham scored a superb 104 at the Saffrons for Ansty against Eastbourne, but his innings, which inclded 14 fours and a six, was not enough to lead the visitors to victory.   The home side posted 214-6 off their 40 overs with Hepburn top scoring with 71.   Ansty's Rob Littlejohns was the most successful bowler, taking three wickets.
In reply, Benham and Paul Osborn (21) forged a partnership of 53 for the second wicket, but wickets fell regularly once the stand was broken. Only a cameo from Simon Parsons (20) brought Ansty close to victory, but at stumps they finished on 207-8, a loss by just 7 runs.
