Sunday, 17th September CRAWLEY DOWN v ANSTY Friendly Ansty defeated Crawley Down by 4 wickets at Sandy Lane after bowling out their hosts Crawley Down for 159. Brown top scored with 40 with S Ward making 33 at number ten to give the home side a decent total. For Ansty, skipper Tom Freeman and David Lawrey claimed three wickets apiece. In reply, the visitors started strongly with Myles Machin (19) and Darren Senadhira (27) scoring at six an over. Brian Still (40) kept the run-rate up before James Nutter (14no) and Freeman (17no) clinched the victory. For Crawley Down, Farley and Robinson took two wickets apiece.
