FOREST ROW v ANSTY
Friendly

Ansty's colts Leo Anderson and Henry Fowler put on 144 for the first wicket to lead their side to a 9-wicket victory at Forest Row. Leo scored an unbeaten 80, whilst Henry made 63. The opening partnership lasted exactly 90 minutes, with Fowler striking 10 fours and a six in his 50 ball innings. Anderson's 80no came off 81 balls and included 11 fours and a six.
Earlier, Fowler had been the hero with the ball, taking 4 for 31 off 12 overs as Forest Row were dismissed for 158. It could have been far worse for the home side but for their number eleven, who struck an unbeaten 41. Young wicketkeeper Leo Anderson claimed two good stumpings, one of which was off Sam Osborn's bowling, who only played because Ansty were short of players.
