SCB League Worthing U9 v Ansty U-9 Sat   20th May  2006 Ansty 252   Worthing 250 Ansty got to grips early with the damp and windy conditions building a solid score of 252. Three batsman reached double figures, Seth Guy-Knapp (10), Jasper Menzies (10) and Stephen Best (11). The rain held off as Worthing made early inroads into the Ansty target, quickly reaching 240 after half the allotted overs. However 3 run outs and 4 good catches won the game for Ansty. Charlie Guy-Knapp had a great last over with 2 wickets, turning the match around on the last ball (caught cleanly by James Rayward). One other moment will stick in the memory of all those present when Best, running in quickly picked up the ball and hit one stump from the outfield, running out a Worthing batsman by some distance.
