Identilam League Cuckfield U9 v Ansty U-9 Thurs 18th May  2006 Cuckfield 267 Ansty 212 Cuckfield got off to a flying start from Joe Cambridge (22) and at the tail Rob Cope hammered a brilliant 28. Ansty’s bowling was fairly solid with good performances from Stephen Best, Luke Baldwin, Ben Gold and Hugh Errit.   Cuckfield ended on 267 for 7.   In return Ansty were contained by some tight Cuckfield bowling especially Ben Meyer-Ratken, Cambridge and Jed Ayloff.   Ansty were in trouble but a brilliant final partnership from Best (19) and Tom Ritchie (17) allowed them to get some pride back to finish on 212 for 14.
