Sunday, 5th June ANSTY v FINDON " npower" National Village Cup Sussex Group Semi-Final (at " The Poplars" , Ansty) Toss: Won by Ansty Findon progressed to the Sussex Group Final after a comprehensive 8-wicket victory at Ansty.  Openers David Croydon (24) and Tom Benham (29) put on 65 for the first wicket, but Paul O'Sullivan struck for the favourites with a spell of tight bowling, taking 3 for 15 off 9 overs to put the blocks on Ansty.  However, Richard Nichols hit a blistering 62 and Simon Parsons struck an unbeaten 31 to enable Ansty to reach 202 for 7 at the end of 40 overs, scoring 101 off the final ten overs.  In reply, James Iago led Findon to the Final with an unbeaten 84, supported by John Rogers (47), Andrew Vickerstaff (34no) and Nick Gifford (22), with 6.2 overs to spare.
