Saturday, 18th June CUCKFIELD IV v ANSTY III Stoner Mid-Sussex League Division Three (at Cuckfield Park) Toss: Won by Cuckfield IV   A superb opening stand of 97 for Ansty III by Llewelyn Boshoff and Leo Anderson led their side to an eight-wicket victory over their neighbours Cuckfield IV.  The home side batted first and put on 65 in an opening stand with Michael Manse (33) and David Fitt (21) scoring well, but the introduction of Aqeel Janjua soon had the hosts in trouble.  Apart from a cameo 24 from Richard Fitt, Cuckfield collapsed to 146 all out with Janjua taking 6 for 21.  Phil Travis also bowled well for Ansty, taking 2 for 19.  In reply, fourteen-year-old Leo Anderson hit a sublime 68, a maiden senior fifty, to lead Ansty towards victory.  Llew Boshoff made a steady 45no and Simon Finch (16no) joined him to seal the win.
