Toss: Won by Preston Nomads IV

Preston Nomads IV won the toss and put Ansty III in to bat, who struggled against tight, accurate bowling and were finally dismissed for 122.  Tony Doctors took 5 for 29 and Owen Kernan grabbed 4 for 27 for Nomads.  Ansty's Aqeel Janjua top scored for the home side with an unbeaten 47 and figured in a useful partnership of 43 for the seventh wicket with Michael Lawrey (17).  In reply, Nomads lost three early wickets, but recovered through Stephen Oliver (32) and Paul Hird (20no) to win by 5 wickets.  James Thorpe was the pick of the Ansty attack with 2 for 21 off 10 overs.
