Saturday, 30th July ARUNDEL II v ANSTY II Sussex Invitation 2nd XI League Division Two (at Arundel) Toss: Won by Arundel II John Vesey scored a personal best, unbeaten 74 to lead Ansty 2nd XI to a 7-wicket success at Arundel II, their eleventh win of the season. Arundel had elected to bat, but good bowling and fielding by the visitors had them restricted to 150 for 9. Pilgrim top scored with 31, but three wickets apiece for Tom Freeman, Shaun Janman and Andy Mott had Arundel in trouble. In reply, despite losing a couple of early wickets, Vesey and Andy Hadfield (40no) led Ansty to victory with 8 overs to spare, figuring in an unbroken partnership of 88.
