Toss: Won by Arundel II
Ansty II gained their fourth successive victory at home to Arundel II, winning with 15 overs to spare by 7 wickets. Their visitors batted first and their skipper Murray (56) led them to157 for 4, looking towards a big score. However, Ansty's Rob Littlejohns had other ideas and ripped through the batsmen as Arundel lost their last six wickets for just 13 runs. Littlejohns finished with 6 for 37 which included a "hat-trick". Littlejohns also took a "hat-trick" in one of his rare appearances for the 1st XI at home to Billingshurst last season! All six wickets were bowled, and Littlejohns received support from Neil Machin and Tom Freeman, who took two wickets apiece. Freeman then saw Ansty home in with an unbeaten knock of 83, figuring in a club record unbeaten stand for the fourth wicket of 102 with his skipper David Hawke (32no).
