Ansty's Will Pike tore into League leaders Burgess Hill 2nd XI's attack scoring a superb 106 as the visitors declared on 222 for 9. Pike was fourth out when the score was 146 and his innings, off just 77 balls, included 12 fours and 4 sixes. He figured in a useful stand with Andy Hadfield, putting on 93, which equalled a club record stand for that wicket. Hadfield scored 58 and skipper David Hawke weighed in with a cameo 24. For Burgess Hill, Hickman took 3 for 106. In reply, the home side struggled against the accuracy of Rob Littlejohns, Alex Janjua and Ben Coombs. Hickman hit 44 and Dan Maskell made 32, but Hill were dismissed for 119 giving Ansty a third successive League victory. Littlejohns took 4 for 30, supported by Janjua's 3 for 21 and Coombs 2 for 32.
