Sunday, 29th May ANSTY v HURSTPIERPOINT 40-over Friendly (at " The Poplars" , Ansty) Tasmanian Daniel Morgan top scored for Ansty with 90 as his side posted a massive 251 for 6 in a 40-over friendly at home with Hurstpierpoint.  His innings lasted just 95 minutes off just 75 balls and included 15 fours and a six.  He received good support from Kristian Piolet (36) and Shaun Janman (43no).  Jon Hill offered a cameo 23 before retiring hurt with a damaged finger.  In reply, Hurstpierpoint were never in a chance of overhauling the target with wickets falling at a regular rate.  Tom Benham, given a rest from his 'keeper duties, took 4 for 15, whilst Peter Fowles, Aiden Janman and Simon Parsons took two wickets apiece to dismiss the visitors for just 88, a loss by 163 runs.  Matt Parsons top scored for Hurst with 22.
