Ansty’ s Kristian Piolet and Tom Benham slaughtered Bolney’ s attack when they both carried their bat to post a score of 260 for 0 declared off just 35 overs. Kristian hit 119no which included 18 fours and a six, whilst his opening partner hammered 107no with19 fours and a six. Bolney’ s reply was quick, but wickets started to fall regularly and they settled for a draw on 194 for 7. Steve Bowles and Kevin Hall hit 47 apiece, whilst Jack Collins (34) and Jack Wood (25) also contributed well. For Ansty, Simon Parsons took 3 for 27 and Tasmanian Daniel Morgan claimed 2 for 42, his first wickets for the club.
