Saturday, 7th May 2005 ANSTY III v FOREST ROW II Friendly (at Whitemans Green) Ansty 3rd XI started their season with a superb 8-wicket win at Whitemans Green against Forest Row II.  Warden Park School pupils Joe Hallam, Ross Chisholm and James Thorpe were behind the victory with a good performance.  Forest Row II scored 172 for 9 with Phillips (37), Phil Rowe (31) and Graham Rowe (24) among the runs, but it was 14-year-old Joe Hallam, who took 5 for 24, who did most of the damage.  Daniel Belfort grabbed 2 for 25 in support.  In reply, James Thorpe scored 74 and Ross Chisholm hit an unbeaten 71 to lead Ansty III home with 7.3 overs to spare.  Thorpe's innings included 11 fours and Chisholm hit 12 fours and a six in his innings.
