Stoner Mid-Sussex League Division Three Roffey IV v ANSTY III (at Sun Alliance, Horsham, 31/07/04) Toss: Won by Roffey IV Ansty III recorded their first League win of the season away to Roffey IV, to help them pull away from the bottom of the table.  The home side, playing at the Sun Alliance ground at Horsham, made 156 for 8 in their 47 overs having won the toss.  Punnett (32) and Hall (30) top scored for Roffey, who had no answer to sixteen-year-old Daniel Belfort's bowling as he took a personal League best of 4 for 31.  Myles Machin helped himself to 2 for 9 off three overs before doing the most damage in Ansty's reply with the bat.  Machin hit 64 (7 fours) as he led Ansty to a 7-wicket victory.  Brian Fletcher (26) figured with Machin in a partnership of 73 for the second wicket and Simon Finch (31no) and Aqeel Janjua (26no) put on 49 in an unbroken fourth wicket stand to lead Ansty home.
