Stoner Mid-Sussex League Division Three St Andrews Bears v ANSTY III (at Berrylands, 24/07/04) Ansty III were dismissed for 171 in the 46th over at Berrylands against St Andrews Bears.  Thirteen-year-old Joe Hallam, a recent call up to Sussex u13s, top scored with 34.  He received support from Jonathan Freeman and Sam Goldsmith, who both hit 24 apiece, and opener Terry Croydon (19).  Mitchell and Tucker took three wickets apiece for the home side.  In reply, Ansty III had the " Bears" in trouble at 20 for 3 with a useful spell by Jimmy DiBella (3 for 40), but despite tight bowling from Aqeel Janjua (10-4-9-2), St Andrews held out for a draw at 122 for 7 at stumps.  Mitchell (30) and Goodwin (29) top scored.
