Ansty III, fielding five colts, were no match for Keymer & Hassocks III on the artificial track at Belmont Close, Hassocks. Ansty III had been put in and were dismissed for 100, with Coleman taking 5 for 28. Ansty were 19 for 6 at one stage before Brian Fletcher (30) and Myles Machin (32) put on a useful 58-run partnership. Rob Littlejohns took 2 for 29, but Hassocks clinched an 8-wicket victory with Pithie (38no) and V L'Estrange (31) top scoring.
