Stoner Mid-Sussex League Division Three ANSTY III v Lindfield Swans (at St Francis, 19/06/04) Toss: Won by Ansty III Ansty III scored 179 for 8 declared at home to Lindfield Swans but they were still unable to force home their first victory of the season. Terry Croydon (27), Alan Piolet (22no), Simon Finch (22), Dan Belfort (16), Aiden Janman (14no), Myles Machin (13) and Sam Goldsmith (12) all made useful contributions but "extras" was top score with 38! Glen Lovelock took 4 for 54 for the Swans. In reply, Colin Mayes (27) and Neil Baker (30) put on 60 for the opening stand, but Aqeel Janjua (3 for 18) and Alan Piolet (2 for 50) brought Ansty in with a chance of forcing a victory. Graham Boyce (29no) saw Lindfield towards the draw as they finished on 146 for 6 at stumps.
