ANSTY III v St James Fury (at St Francis, 12/06/04)
Ansty III are still looking for their first league win after suffering their fifth successive league defeat against St James Fury. Put into bat, Ansty III made 115 all out with skipper James Balcombe taking 8 for 48 off 20.1 overs. Terry Croydon (22), Brian Fletcher (19), Aqeel Janjua (15), Dan Belfort (13) and Myles Machin (12) managed to get into double figures for the home side. In reply, Ansty had St James on 15 for 4 with Richard Lillicrap bowling all four, but Balcombe (46no) and Karthic (45no) put on 101 to clinch a 6-wicket win. Lillicrap finished with figures of 4 for 39.
