Ansty II denied Billingshurst II the opportunity to win their 2nd XI title by defeating them by 8 wickets at "The Poplars". The visitors were dismissed for just 122 with Rob Littlejohns taking 4 for 21, supported by two wickets apiece from Tom Freeman, skipper Andy Mott and James Nutter. Only Smith (26) offered any resistance for Billingshurst. Despite losing an early wicket, Ansty had no trouble reaching the target with Richard Pike hitting an unbeaten 61no. Jonathan Freeman made 35 in a second wicket partnership of 80. The result secured Ansty II into third place in the final table.
