Sussex Invitation League
Keymer & Hassocks II v ANSTY II (at Adastra Park, 24/07/04)
Toss: Won by Keymer & Hassocks II
Leaders Keymer & Hassocks II put their visitors Ansty II in and despite bowling tight, they were unable to rip through the solid Ansty batting.  The visitors made 182 for 6 with David Hawke top scoring with a superb 76.  Other useful scores came through Mick Nicholas (33), John Vesey (28no) and Andrew Mowforth (23).  Vesey and Hawke put on a useful 52 for the fourth wicket.  Dunn was Hassocks' most successful bowler with 5 for 39.  In reply, Ansty soon had high-flying Keymer in trouble at 21 for 3, but Wylam (45) gave the leaders hope.  However Ansty skipper Andy Mott (4 for 13 off 11 overs) had the home side in trouble and they settled for a draw at 130 for 8.
