ANSTY II v East Preston II (at "The Poplars", 17/07/04)

Toss: Won by East Preston II

East Preston II made 220 for 9 declared in almost 3 hours with Keith Chamberlin (88) and Peter Vodden (a maiden 59) putting on 116 for the sixth wicket.  Sixteen-year-old James Nutter was the pick of the bowlers with 4 for 33, supported by fellow colt Tom Freeman (3 for 44).  In reply, Ansty struggled against an accurate attack and threw their wickets away in the chase before settling for a draw at 126 for 8.  Freeman top scored with 40, whilst opener Mick Nicholas made 22.  Ralfe and Davis took three wickets apiece.
