II after Tom Benham hit his league maiden hundred. His knock of 102
lasted 166 minutes and included 13 fours and a six. He was well
supported by skipper David Hawke (57no) and Brian Still (40). Bassett
took three wickets in four balls at the finish to end with 4 for 44.
In reply, Barns Green II were never in the hunt, scoring just 22 off
the first 10 overs. Jonathan Freeman took league best bowling figures
of 3 for 20 and Still grabbed 2 for 23, but Green ended their innings
on 133 for 7 with Gregory top scoring with 35.
