Henfield v ANSTY (at Henfield Common, 31/07/04)
Toss: Won by Henfield
Ansty were put in by the bottom club Henfield and amassed 227 for 6 declared in just 43.2 overs.  Richard Nichols hit 89 and Paul Osborn scored 50, with support from David Croydon (26) and Darren Senadhira (25).  Henfield skipper Graham Fuller had most success with the ball, taking 2 for 48.  In reply, the home side started cautiously, but were always up with the run-rate.  Chris Crampton (36) and Kevin Thorns, put on a very useful 82 for the second wicket.  Simon Parsons responded with 3 for 53 for Ansty, including the wicket of Thorns, who had scored 90, but with ten required off the final over (their 50th), Henfield closed just four runs short of victory on 224 for 5.
