ANSTY v Streat & Westmeston (at " The Poplars" , 30/08/04)
Ansty easily defeated Streat & Westmeston in their annual 55-over Bank Holiday fixture by 200 runs at " The Poplars" . The home side scored 283 for 6 with Tom Benham top scoring with 98. He was supported by Darren Senadhira (50), Jared Rowe (33), Brian Still (22no) and David Croydon (18). In reply, Streat lost wickets at regular pace as Ansty used six bowlers who each took at least a wicket. Davies (21) top scored for the visitors, who were no match on this occasion to fine bowling and fielding, led by Jared Rowe (3 for 1 off 4 overs) and Chris Nutter (3 for 21), and they collapsed to 83 all out.
