Ansty v Billingshurst (home)

U14 Identilam League

Ansty beat Billinghurst by 47 runs in their Identilam Under 14 League clash on Saturday. Batting first, Ansty made 132 for three in their 20 overs. Joe Hallam (27 retired), Henry Fowler (25 retired) and Leo Anderson (24) led the way, while Josh Menzies contributed a brisk 16 not out at the end of the innings.

A young Billingshurst side batted well in their reply but were never able to threaten the home side’s total as their innings closed on 85 for 8. Woodman (26 retired) and Shambrook (12 no) were the top scorers. Ansty captain Fowler who took 3 for 4 enjoyed good support from Hallam (2 for 5) and Lawrey who also took a wicket.
